Our Team

Joel Rosenzweig, President & CEO

Joel represents the 3rd generation of our family owned and operated company. He has over 40 years of experience in racing. In 1987, he, along with Ron Couturier and Bill Stoddard, expanded our company to include Photo finish services in addition to our trademarked timing systems. They are also responsible for bringing the first digital COLOR Photo finish systems to the United States. In 1999 Joel further expanded our company by starting our CCTV division. This led to the acquisition of a well-established company, Eye In The Sky/Photo Trackmaster and the addition of valuable employees to our company.

Ron Couturier, Executive VP & COO

Ron has more than 40 years of experience in the racing industry. He has single handedly designed and built our custom, proprietary solid-state timers to be the most accurate and reliable in the industry. His engineering background also provides him with a vast knowledge of photo finish & CCTV systems and designs. He is often consulted in construction and design elements of new racetracks being built throughout North America. He has directly designed and overseen the installation of our Teletimer® timing system at harness and thoroughbred racetracks, including multiple turf course running lanes on thoroughbred racetracks. These projects over the last 40+ years are too numerous to list here. Let it be noted that there is no one else anywhere with as much experience in designing and implementing racetrack timing systems.

Bill Stoddard, Executive VP

With over 60 years of experience in the racing industry, Bill’s knowledge of racing is almost second to none. His knowledge helped American Teletimer expand into photo finish in 1987. Bill started out as a horse trainer and this knowledge has helped him over the past 60 years to set up and maintain specific timing and photo finish systems around North America.

Eric Barthelemy – Vice President

With over 28 years in the racing industry, Eric is responsible for the overall coordination of American Teletimer’s CCTV division including installation, production and supervision. Eric was instrumental in setting up all video production in the early 1990s for Dairyland Greyhound Park, The Red Mile, and Wichita Greyhound Park. He also constructed and installed mobile production trailers for harness racing in upstate New York and thoroughbred racing. His duties also include timing and photo finish installations and maintenance at Thoroughbred, Standardbred & Greyhound tracks throughout the United States and Canada. Eric has and continues to work closely with Delaware North Companies on various projects (including CCTV) at Finger Lakes Casino and Racetrack and Daytona Beach Kennel Club. The new Daytona Beach Kennel Club’s CCTV system is a true HD system designed and developed by Eric. Eric has worked in many types of budgets from economical to state of the art multi-million dollar systems.

Matt Rosenzweig – GM of Corporate Operations

Matt represents the 4th generation of our family owned and operated business. While he is the newest member of our team with just over 4 years of direct racing experience, he has been involved with American Teletimer his entire life. His vast product knowledge and customer service skills bring invaluable tools to our team.

Philip Couturier – Systems Engineer

With over 10 years of experience in racing, Philip is the second generation Couturier to work for American Teletimer. His vast knowledge of hardware and software programing, including imbedded software programming allows us to custom design our timer and Photo finish computer to suit the specific needs of Miami Valley Racing and Gaming. He will also be on-site during the installation process to make sure everything is installed and working as designed.

Ira Rosenfeld, Computer Programmer

Ira brings over 40 years of experience to our team. His knowledge of computer programming and database design is crucial to the setup of our Photo finish system computers tailored to the specific needs of Miami Valley Racing and Gaming. Also, his knowledge of systems analysis is crucial to solving any issues that might arise during the normal use and operation of our systems.

Ford Cook – Director of Field Operations

Ford brings 40+ years of experience in the racing industry to our team. In this time he has served in many roles including Vice President for Kuprion Photo in Chicago and Kentucky.  There he ran the Photo finish and winner circle operations, as well as the Film Patrol systems. He was also the Operations Director for Eye in The Sky, Jones Precision, Mendelson Films and Photo Trackmaster, all at one time prestigious racing service companies. This position gave him Technical experience in CCTV, Security, Video, Photo Finish and Timing. In 1993, Ford Joined Teleview Racing Patrol.  There he assisted the president and technical staff in the daily operations.  His responsibilities included the complete start up, training of employees and operations of the Timing and Photo Finish services, as well as assisting in the installations of the Television services at contracted locations. He was extremely active in most every new or upgraded Teleview installation during his 13 years of employment. In 2008, Ford brought all this knowledge and experience to us here at American Teletimer and since then has been actively involved in all the racing services that we provide. His knowledge and attention to detail make him a great fit with us here and a true asset to our team.
